Terpsolate – What is it?

A seemingly limitless number of goods are available in the cannabis industry, ranging from its numerous cultivars to its various derivatives, all of which can be obtained through a diverse range of extraction methods and equipment types.

The last of the three is the least efficient, and as a result, it is not frequently utilized. As an alternative, supercritical CO2 extraction of the solvent-based is strongly recommended. Winterization and short path distillation are frequently used in conjunction with each other to improve output quality.



Terpsolates are produced in a manner that is similar to that of terpene extraction. The only significant difference occurs during the’short-path distillation’ stage (after winterization), during which the terpenes that thaw at various temperatures are either selected to be left in or removed, resulting in the formation of terpsolate (terpene alcohol).
