CO₂ EXTRACTION

CO₂ EXTRACTION

CO2 extraction uses carbon dioxide as a solvent to extract the THC crude oil and ultimately distillate out of the cannabis plant material, often called biomass.  For instance, as a gas, CO2 extraction is a full-spectrum process used to make many different products. In addition, CO2 extraction is the best way to get pure, clean, high-quality oil. Above all, it also preserves the unique flavor profile of your strain.

We can use our Apeks Duplex® to process up to 180 pounds of dried plant matter. In the CO2 extraction process, the system is made for subcritical extraction, suitable for low pressure and low-temperature extractions. Above all, subcritical processing ensures that terpenes aren’t lost, and that post-processing is minimal. In conclusion, our laboratory team can get the best of both worlds with this technology!

We are a dedicated team of leaders who produce world-class cannabis oil using CO2 extraction, Ethanol extraction, and Butane extraction systems that are clean and safe.

Closed Loop Supercritical Extraction

Utilizing subcritical and supercritical CO₂ our systems offer high-capacity, high-production operations with fast, efficient extractions of botanical oils without degradation.
